[Your name] [Team or club], [School name] [Date] To: [Athletic Director / Club Sponsor / Principal] Subject: Using Shutter with our team Hello [Name], I'd like to let our [team/club] use Shutter, a photo app for students 16 and older. A few times a week, at one random moment, everyone using the app gets a "shutter" and has two minutes to post a front-and-back camera photo of what they're doing. Late posts are allowed and count fully, so students never need to post during class, practice, or while driving. What it is and isn't: - Only students who confirm they are 16 or older can join. No birthdates are collected. - Posts are visible only to accepted friends, only for the current drop. There are no public profiles, no stranger discovery, and no direct messages. - Every post and profile has report and block buttons. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. - No tracking ads. Local businesses can sponsor school scoreboard pages with clearly labeled lines. - The school scoreboard shows only the school name and a percentage, never individual students, and only once a school has 10 members. - The app is free, with no in-app purchases. It's paid for by labeled ads from local businesses; ads never affect scores. How we'd use it: - I would share a team code (and QR flyer) so players can join and add each other. - Participation is optional and has no effect on playing time, membership, or grades. - I will not add students as friends on the app. More information: https://shutter-dd3.pages.dev/parents and https://shutter-dd3.pages.dev/schools Questions: masonngo70@gmail.com ยท Safety: masonngo70@gmail.com Please let me know if this is OK, or if you'd like to talk first.
